how about black? I was thinking that one advertised up here might be a good project car for an R Gruppe guy, or possibly a good "driver". The ad, as it appeared in The Portland Yellow Pages, aka THE OREGONIAN:
"70 911T Excl. Cond. $11,500. 503-291-6242" You can see pics by going to
    oregonlivepics.com

Personal disclaimer...all I know about this car is what is here...

Don't remind me, I thought when I sold it for 26, I was at the top of the market.

Speaking of Oregon... I saw a pretty nice looking AUbergine '70 or '71 for sale here in Eugene. Can't remember the price but I think it was only abgout $7,000.

You might want to check the classifieds in the local paper, the Register-Guard if interested in an "away" car.

You should check this car out. If I was in the market I would snatch it up. Right in your price range and appears to be an excellent example. It's not Orange or Viper green but it's the same vibe. Signal Yellow.

I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.
