    BTW, which do you think it's better 72 or 73?

    1972 has chrome trim and bumpettes. It also has the exterior oil tank filler ...1973 Has black anodized trim and rubber bumperettes...mechanically they are the same.

    I personally like the 1972 better...in any colour but....., I also don't care much for the cookie cutter wheels offered in those two years.

    The Purple colour has grown on me and I think that would be a nice colour to have...very period specific.
