    Bendix or Hardi type fuel pump ?

    My 67 normal has Webers and a Bendix pump, but I noticed in the Haynes manual it says that the Bendix was installed in engines with Solex carbs and that the Webers came with Hardi type pumps.
    My car is # 305701 type 901/05 and has the original (correct) Webers but it also has what looks to be the original Bendix pump.
    What's up with that ? Should I upgrade my fuel pump?

    Thanks;
    John

    John,

    Rick C. or Eric L. can answer you definitively but...
    Every '67-S I've ever seen has a Bendix pump... and REAL fast ones, sometimes two

    Actually, the Bendix pumps on Early S's remind me of the same old Bendix Elmira (New York) pumps we used to run on hot rods in the 60's...

    Cheers,
