    I resisted using the yellow lenses precisely because I didn't want to call any more attention to the car by the police who may or may not know the law.

    I thought I read recently that the French have since changed their scientific understanding of the benefits of yellow lenses. Are they still used on the new cars in France.

    Surrender yellow! Hah!

    yellow lenses

    France: it is no longer legal to drive with them, unless you are taking part in some vintage retrospective- then they look the other way- but on that black car- they look really cool!
