This is the 1970 only version with horizontal key alignment. Hard to find the specific internals for these one year only items. GLWS.

Thanks Cees. Funny, I have 3 70 cars here now buy nobody needs a door handle.

I'll take it as I have been looking for a horizontal key for a 70 for a while. Happen to have any of the pieces that came out of it? PM me payment details.
    Thanks,
    Jule

I believe all the internals for these are the same as the vertical key style handles. I know the lock cylinder, spring and L/R catch press is the same. There is a change later in the vertical handles that make the finger trigger and a few other parts unusable but also no good for earlier vertical style as well. If Jule passes on it I will take it.

    Rick,

Received door handle today, fastest shipping I have ever seen. It is very nicely chromed, where did you have it done? I have it working well with repurposed later pieces. My 70 will be really happy to have its original style handle back on.
    Thanks,

    Jule
