    And, I would like to buy one of your hubs also. Any plans to make one for the newer cars?

    You are absolutely correct. In the original wheels, the wheel was assembled from 3 pieces, the hub, the 30mm spacer and the wheel. As your pictures nicely illustrate, these were riveted together to form a single assembly.

    I changed "The original extended hubs were simply 30mm spacers that were inserted between the hub and the steering wheel."
    It now reads, "The original extended hub wheels had 30mm spacers that were inserted between the hub and the steering wheel before being riveted together to form a single assembly."

    Thanks for helping me to clearly reshape the description.

    It's certainly worth considering making the later 911 spacer.

    Here is another photograph of the riveted assembly showing the plastic spacer.
