    Audette Collection is Downsizing

    Hello Friends....

I thought a I would take a moment to let you know a bit about planned changes at Audette Collection. Simply put, I'm downsizing, mainly by offering fewer products. This will enable us to downsize we're to fewer employees and going from four employees to two, of course all of being me. My hope is that it will help us to increase our service level by reducing the sheer level of activity and number of moving parts. I've always believe that completeness, i.e a full breath of products, is a value-add to a business, a concept well understood by Jeff Bezos. But it requires resources, resources that exceed the ability of one person's ability.

It reminds me of when I was working as a stockbroker. I had somehow managed to acquire over 800 clients which was too many by far. I hired two new brokers, split 700 accounts between them to give them a nice launch to their careers, and concentrated on the remaining 100. It turned how well for all involved.

That's the simple, practical part of it. Another is adapting to what I believe is a Negative Polarity in the United States and the world today which I mentioned earlier. When high winds come up it's important to trim your sails and avoid sailing too close to the wind ( as life-long entrepreneur it feels like I've been sailing close to the wind forever and enough is enough, regardless of the weather ).

I'll keep you posted as things progress (I use that word deliberately).

    All the best,
    John

Good luck with downsizing, John. You deserve to slow down a little...you have been delivering quality products for many years! All the best for you.

    John,

Looks like you are watching and participating in the forum so hopefully you will see this request. Please return my messages. I have sent a couple of emails and left you 2 voicemails. I ordered your LED bulb kit and I have specific questions about the bulbs and signal relay. I am taking my '71 on a cross country trip in few weeks so time is becoming an issue to solve these problems. Thank you.

Brian, hopefully your questions were answered. I’m still waiting for an answer about updating a product I bought last year. Multiple emails and a voicemail left since early February haven’t worked. Guess I should look elsewhere for a solution.

I sent you a PM. I'm working hard of service right now, 10 hours a day, 7 days a week - just like my younger days! Anyway, please let me know how I can help you.

John been very responsive to me. Look for prior posts and you will understand John's problems. As an aside, John talks about Jeff Bezos. Even the big guys go wrong. 15 minutes ago my Alexa told me I had delivery from Amazon at the front door. Ordered some wire splices that I expected delivered. Went to the front door and three packages there. Now I am 81 (just) and I do get forgetful. Dragged them inside. One was the standard blue and white Amazon envelope which was open at one end with nothing in it. Next was a heavy duty brown paper mailer with the splices I ordered. Lastly was a big box with a carbon fiber banana bicycle racing seat. Have not has a bike in years. Checked all my accounts to see if somebody hacked me and nothing. Packages were delivered by USPS. All had the same tracking number. Somebody is in trouble at the Carteret, NJ Amazon distribution center. At least with John I always get what I order.

Now how the F--k do I return the seat since there is no Amazon info associated with it. Even my blind, deaf 12 year old pug is laughing at me. He does that a lot. His suggestion is that I order a bike to go with the seat as a solution. Chill out guys
