    Deser Sport Seats

It seems like a lot of these have been for sale recently...in either case, I would like $1750 for the pair, tilters/sliders are not included at that price - $2000 for everything as bolted to my car, shipping extra (and boy would I prefer pick-up!).

This is a pair of replica vinyl sport seats with the '69-'71 patterned center. Regardless of whether you want to buy these, I highly encourage anyone who has the sofa recaro buckets to pull those out of your car and install sport seats - either real ones, or these as replicas. They are super comfortable, actually provide some support for "spirited driving" and look the part. I am only selling because I am criminally insane and bought real sport seats. Pro tip: fake Christmas tree bags are a wonderful place to store your original buckets - one bag will fit both buckets.

    As for the details:
    • I drive my cars, so these have at least 10,000 miles on them. They still look very, very nice. As much as I drive my cars, I also liberally sprinkle UV protectant vinyl treatment on my interior.
    • That said, the upper outer bolster of the driver side chair is pretty badly scratched because I slide into the chair and the rivet on my favorite pair of jeans dug into the leatherette.
    • Similarly, the bottom/outer bolster has a bit of a wear mark on it. I've tried to take photos, and am more than happy to take a bunch more if you are interested.
    • All of that said, they are priced appropriately - I think this is less than half the price of one new from Mr. Fiat.
    • Because of the mushing I did to the bolsters, I had them re-stuffed...so you're actailly getting a bit "plumper" of a driver seat than normally is made by Deser.
    • As for the bases, the passenger side is on a reproduction tilt bracket. The driver side is on a slider only. The logic behind this is I only have my kids enter the back seat via the passenger side, and I am tall, so I prefer not to have the extra height of the tilt bracket. I would highly encourage this set-up for anyone thinking of adding sport seats.

If you want to arrange pick-up, I am located near Lime Rock in Connecticut, and commute enough into NYC so that some sort of metropolitan hand-off can be arranged. I'm also going to the VRG Jefferson 500 at Summit Point in a few weeks, and can bring them along and drop them off somewhere along the eastern corridor. Otherwise, we can ship. I am selling these because they should be in a car and not on my shelf, and I have too much crap on my shelves anyway (which is why I am starting to decumulate). If you buy these, I want you to be happy, so ask away and if more pictures are needed, I am happy to take them.
