Turbo tie rod on 1965 with steering damper ?

    Hi ,
I would like to know if anyone has ever fitted turbo tie rods on an SWB with a steering damper?
It seems to me that the protective rubbers (those from elephant racing for example) are not made to fit the right side of the steering damper support

    Thank you for your answers

Have them on my 67 without damper but they had to be modified.

As a side note, when I replaced my 66 911 steering damper I found a Koni. Had no idea. It seems to have worked quite well.
