    73 S seat install in 79SC?

    I have a backdated 79SC.
Would like to use my original 73 S sport seats in the 79SC.

What bracket would i need to make an old seat work in a newer car?

hi tcsracing, you need special brackets for the G model. At that time, these were manufactured by both Scheel and Recaro. both fit your seats. I can offer you both as a pair or individually. Please note, however, that rail adjustment (like the original one on your 73 car) is not possible. The solution of brackets with rails below was only available for the 911 until 1973. But you could make a solution if necessary. It's best if you contact me via PM and I'll be happy to send pictures. regards uwe

You could also contact Ward at Vintage Seats. They make an adapter bracket for G-Model cars. I have two in my '74 so that I could mount pre-74 seats. I also have an extra that is a tilt base if you're interested.

F body sport seats look great in the G body cars. Never a fan of those tombstone seats.
