I recently got a new battery and Daisy would not start. We did a phone/video diagnosis with Jamie Pertuit (Tuit Tech); checked that the carbs are getting fuel, and looked at other stuff,. Jamie asked if the CDI was whining; it wasn't.
It seems that after 52 years, it has gone kaput.
What is the general consensus here on the board regarding CDI repair versus new CDI, new CDI with more advanced electronics in them? If repair is the way, which is the better place, ECUDoctor, Ashlock, any others? For new, Parts Klassik, Ashlock, any others?
Any help is much appreciated...I NEED to drive Miss Daisy!
