    1971 911 S Targa restoration help

I'm restoring an old 911S Targa from 1971 that was converted to a cab in the 90s. I have now found all the parts (I think) to convert it back to targa.

    - Inner targa bar
    - outer targa bar
    - rear window
    - rear window rubber seal
    - metal things to put under the window.
    - targa bar interior.

Finding everything was quite tough but doable. However, now I'm completely stuck on how to get everything back in place. Has anyone here gone through the same journey and would like to share how you did things and in which order?

Helped my buddy with same issue….
1st is to remove all the components , the steel bar frame must be welded in place
It’s absolutely critical that to be in the exact location so the targa top and glass fit precisely.
He had this done by a skilled restorer with factory info..
The trim on the body was next , front rubber seals at the A pillar and metal trim along across the A pillar…then We trial fit the top, metal trim cover
Thats where he is now …he was told the glass goes in before final targa cove trim goes on
