    More Air|Water 1

    . . .

I was genuinely shocked to see this

I know the rear tag says 'turbo S' --- but that is NOT a turbo s hood . . .

. . . neither is the Matter cage

    I think this is an RS . . . one of 4 (?)

And going by the color, this would be the '92

Lack of signage + gangster tint + no tag = super 'sus'

According to the info from the QR code on the car, it's shown as a 1993 and it said "1 of only 14 ever made, 13 remains in existence, this blutorange 968 Turbo S features a number of RS upgrades as well. "

Thanks for that Keith --- and for reminding me to pull off my 'CH' tag

With as few RSs as they made, wonder where they got that hood from?

Anyway, here 're the production figures I found from --- where else . . .

Any 968 is a relatively rare car --- Turbos only more so . . . but personally?

    I like the Club Sport . . . definitely a 'Car to Buy NOW' . . .

Air | Water 2024, Post Game

    I liked this show

I haven't gone to the last few Luftgekühlts, mostly because most of the cars are modified --- some more so then others . . .

    . . . and some WAY more *

So, seeing this show --- now with the addition of the water-cooled cars . . . I had my reservations

I know, I know --- this kinda Event is a money-maker for the organizers, so the bigger the pool of potential suck --- er, participants, the better. And, as you see --- they PACKED the place. But not so much that I couldn't get a good look at anything I wanted to see. Lotsa room --- for cars and suck --- er, attendees

And the funny thing was? . . . I didn't feel at all outta place. Granted --- there weren't as many air-cooled cars as water ones. But? A Porsche is a Porsche. And --- thankfully . . . most of 'em were actually stock! And the colors I saw were wonderful --- some particularly really striking

I really liked the venue, too. I expecting some dismal sea-of-asphalt spectacle. Instead, a lot of the area was shady or at least shade was available. And there was a lotta asphalt, too, but the weather was perfect, cool and breezy with lotsa sun. Totally beat my modest expectations

    Good show --- solid 'B'

    Now . . . about those $15 beers

    * Uhhhh --- and in case you're wondering? . . . I am sooo NOT an Outlaw/hot rodder/Desicrator/etc type. I'm OK with anything you can un-bolt and sell on eBay. But, anything more than that, that isn't 'Faktory'? --- well . . . I put all of those kinda cars in the same category as Body Builders, Elvis impersonators, and Plastic Surgery fails, ya know? . . .

    . . . uncomfortably entertaining?

Nice to see your car in the opening scenes!

Shooter tends to focus on the WOW! Cars . . . and a little too much Nissan-sense for me, at one point

And definitely NOT a Porsche Guy . . . don't think he has any idea what he's looking at

    But thanks for sharing

Anybody see Mark Morrissey's car? --- back on the North fence?
