    '74-'80 are the best of the lot imho. Upper and lower bolsters that hold you in place just shy of a Recaro Pole Position. They were redesigned in '81 to make ingress/egress easier. Bolsters got smaller.

    Agree... Found a pair of the 74 for the 74 2.7 Carrera, so these aren't needed, as I don't have a car for them. They are great seats, and as near as new can get. Still for sale.
    first ride - 10 yrs old in a 73 911S - Silver - I was done for
    Started 'playing' with them in the late 80s
    Started racing a 72 911 T built to 2.9L RSR in SoCal SCCA, PCA, POC early 90s
    Have owned over 50 long hoods from late 80s until 2000
    dropped out from 2000 - 2018 - due to life, work, travel
