    After practice I sauntered up this big boy. If you got to have a ‘gull wing’. “It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.”

    I noticed the one trait in common with my 70S. Made me smile.

    I noticed an opportunity for a unique souvenir aside from that tow hook. I started picking pebbles and track goobers off the rear tire. At first it was only a couple for myself and then I thought “Damn, I could sell this on EBay!”. So, started to really wipe off pebbles into my palm and picking off the odd bits of track hot rubber. One of the crew asked me “Whathellyoudoin!” I said the first thing that came to mind, “just cleaning it off for you.” He said “We like it that way!”. So, being polite, I put it all back.

    Headed out to the sand lot to see who was playing outside after looking over all the ‘cool kids’.

    “Hey, I know that dude!” So many John’s at this event. Don’t know what that’s about.

    This was a favorite of mine. Definitely a rough and tumble, no BS ride. Loved it!
