    Has anybody really done this??

I Have spent approximately 9 hours going through every thread on this forum, Pelican and Rennlist to no avail to find a thread on how to rekey early locks

its for door locks on a 1967 911, lots of threads show how to do the brass type "D" shaped wafers and Tony Eugenio is the man but my lock has pins and springs that don't just fall or pull out

and i have no idea how to remove them, if in fact they can be removed for fettling for rekeying

any help would b greatly appreciated.

I had mine 65 lock rekeyed at a local locksmith. 20€, same day service.

    Hi Richard, thank you.

I went to 3 so called specialist locksmiths here in England and they all said it was not doable !!!

I spent an hour and have now keyed both barrels to my ignition key and the locks work fine. I applied common sense and a file, sometimes its east to overthink stuff!

you have to go to a locksmith that has experience with car door locks. They can rekey a door lock for you.
