Strange: 1966 911 sold by POAC, first two services done in Europe ???

    Hi,
a friend of mine is actually restoring 911 304420 delivered in the US on June 1, 1966. There are two strange things on the Kardex.

First is that the handler is POAC (Porsche Of America Corporation) which, for me, isn't a dealer.

Second is that two first (and only) services written on the kardex were done :
1st by a Dr Jebreu (or something like that, it is handwritten) on June 3 1966, which for me is German so I believe done in Germany
2nd by Sonauto on august 2 1966, which was the French distributor of Porsche at that time

From the Kardex, car was delivered in Greenwich, New Jersey.

Could it be a factory car or something like that?

It’s (probably) D’ieteren, the Belgium importer.

It probably was a tourist delivery, ordered through Poac but picked up at the factory.

    Thank you Richard,
I think you are right, this makes so much sense…now that you’ve said it.
    Have a great day.
