    911 dakar

… for desert use? We did have a warm dry spell in England for a couple weeks of the summer resulting in a hosepipe ban on parts of the south so might we see a few of these swanning around the west end of London. Details on Porsche U.K. assume it is more useful it in it her markets :

Although with potholed sate of some of our roads maybe just the thing to tempt this Ferrari driving old London boy to switch marque:

Hope they fit a Sat Nav in case Mark Thatcher decided to get one to recreate his little drive in a Peugeot from Paris to Dakar some four decades on as mummy no longer around to look out for him.

    What in the world?
Maybe the coolest thing I've seen come out of Zuffenhausen in a long time.
But it's only available in the UK? Why not the US as well?

It is available in the US. I've seen them testing one for a few months around LA.
