    Halda Tripmaster Questions

A new to me metal case Halda Tripmaster and could use some help with install thoughts into an 72T and gears. I was able to swap T for a V14, which I believe is the right one. I am running stock 6” Fuchs, 185 15 P6000 tires. I am planning to remove / have removed ashtray and install there but will this bracket and location require drilling? What plugs into what on the T and why so many plugs? Alternatively, could I install in the padded dash without removing it and the windshield?
Any thoughts on these gears? From searching previous posts, these donÂ’t seem correct gears but what are the correct gears? And if not correct, any idea on sourcing individual or swapping? Any idea what cars these gears were for?
Also, sort of related, any advice for removing the speedometer as just back from North Hollywood and have a loaner for mileage (greatly appreciated CA shop providing). The non Speedo cable hookups were a bit much and wasnÂ’t sure what tools needed to remove. Felt I might break/rip with my hands.

And since it doesnÂ’t exist without picturesÂ….

    Thanks in advance.

In order to figure out the proper gears you have to say drive exactly 5 mls and see what your tripmaster reads, then select the proper gesrs. Btw make sure your tires are at the correct pressure. If you change it after measuring you might be off again.
