Jeff and I just had lunch! And I’m used to doing regular drives so I’m looking forward to getting out with them

It was a pleasure meeting you, Alex. I cannot think of a better home for this car. Looking forward to having you join in on our various shenanigans.

Oh, and sorry it took so long to get onto this thread - we just got our power back late last night. Yup, we were part of that 100,000+ up here in Snohomish County that lost power on Friday. It's nice to have heat again...

Thanks again Jeff for making the drive down. I enjoyed having lunch and look forward to getting to know the car and all the shenanigans you guys get up to!

    Great Find Alexk
Many special early S's in the PNW. The early Porsche knowledge up here is pretty cool.
    Have Fun

Well, we didn't scare him off...

I'm happy to report that Alex came out to play with our Pac West R Gruppe guys on our annual "Turkey Hangover" drive yesterday. And, well, like Scott pointed out earlier, we drive "rain or shine" up here. Yesterday, however, was above and beyond the call of duty. There is rain, and there there is rain. While our typical Pacific Northwest grey drizzle never slows us down, yesterday was unusual for our area, with it just coming down in buckets. Being the first to arrive at our designated meet up coffee shop, I found myself quietly wishing everyone else would have the good common sense to just stay home and sit this one out. I shoulda known better... When the first couple of cars started to trickle into the parking lot, I knew we were on. But... surely... the "new guy" wouldn't be crazy enough to join us... would he?

Of course he was. I think he's gonna fit right in... Thanks for coming out, Alex, I hope you had a good time meeting some of the guys. We all enjoyed your company, and are looking forward to sharing many more miles with you. Drier ones, of course...

I don't think anyone was willing to slow down long enough between their car and shelter to snap a pic...
