    The month is indicated with the arrow. Can you take a better, more close picture? Maybe your tank was (soft) blasted to clean? In that case you lose some contrast.

    What a coincidence. The one showed is sold a few years ago.

    I only have a 1972 one for my car.

    Didn’t realise I’d need the correct month as well, that’s going to be like finding hens teeth!

    It’s up to you. I always search for 100% correctness, but that takes a lot of time. You can maintain a tolerance of some months. You can buy a new one like it is. You can buy a new one and develop a Feb 1973 stamp (but there will be some other small deviations too I think).

    Maybe buy a new one and search for a correct one in parallel?

    Wiggling out the fuel gauge can really help gaining access to this fuel fume accumulator box thing. Especially when you want to reinstall it after replacing the old brittle tubing.
