    Fs: 914-6

I'm helping a friend sell this car for a widow. No affiliation, no financial interest. $38,000 OBO.

Comments from my friend who is selling it:

    OBSERVATIONS OF 1970 914-6

    1. Complete front clip replaced with a clip from a 1975 914-4. Well done.

    2. Wheels replaced with Porsche Fuch wheels. Front 15x6, rear 15x8.

    3. Steering wheel replaced with after market wheel.

    4. Interior carpet missing and replaced with homemade carpet -- some other interior parts missing -- dash cracked.

    5. Transmission replaced with a 1974 side shifter unit.

    6. Engine replaced with a 1969 911 T 2.0 engine built by Joe Schneider with less than 20K miles on it.
    .

    7. Both front and rear fender lips have been rolled so that the tires will clear the fenders.

    8. Some rust found below windshield and bottom of front fenders, otherwise very little rust found in the car.

    9. Car drives much better than it looks. Engine and transmission both appear to be strong. Clutch either needs replacing or adjusting. One heat exchanger has rust.

    10. Bottom of car, including the pans and other visible areas show little or no rust.

    11. Car needs a tune up and general service before it should be used.

    12. Missing front bumper and fog lights.

    13. Car needs some body work and a paint job.
