These look great! But aren’t the solex 40PI longer ones? See picture:

The slip ferrule in your picture is for the smaller diameter hose and there are about 15 of those. At the fuel pump and at the hard fuel line at the body you need three of this larger slip ferrule. I think Webers use 4 of these.

I don’t think there is. But I think I have 3 original spares for you.

Ah thanks for your explanation. I didn’t know that. The one I showed came of the fuel line between the carbs:

These look very nice! But I'm curious how they get assembled? When the hoses are dried out, there's not a lot of effort to disassemble. But with fresh hoses, it's impossible to just press them together. Is there a tool or technique? Thanks

Thanks Casey! I hope you like the caps!

Mark, I have used the caps with 7mmID and 7.5mmID fuel hose and they go together without any blood or swearing. Just a miniscule amount of Dow 111 helps with the assembly too. I place the cap on the end of the hose and then insert the banjo or tube. You can also slide the cap on the tube and then the hose then snug the cap down over the hose. The cap has a tiny sight hole so you can check that the hose / cap are fully seated together.

    Best regards,

    Brad
