    Windshield availability

I was just told by my local Porsche Dealer for my '73 that

"Problem is they will all come with a mirror tab glued on for the 78 and later mirror.
And the green glass with also have an antenna in it as well....."

Has anyone experienced this? If not the dealer, who is a good source for OEM windshields?

I used Sierra Madre which sells an exact repro ("SIGLA, Made in West Germany") with and without the tint band, depending on your spec. Well priced. Has held up well over 2 years and 4000 miles of country roads driving.

I bought from Pilkington who manufacture the screens. You can ask for any configuration, tint and have the Sigla logo if you want.

    Yes,
Ravi has the correct item named.

In europe there will be none for the next half a year due to the risen gas prices. I had talked also with NSG Nippon Sheet Glas, who is producing also for Pilkington the screens … no chance.

Sierre Madre has them made, two weeks delivery time. $626.89 plus delivery - unfortunately 1.200 to europe - just checking with my insurance company, if and how much they do pay, as otherwise no options world wide
