non start 72 911T stock ignition

My battery died, had a jump, car ran for about 20 minutes and ied again. tried another jump and won't start
Today I hooked up a timing light and there is no flashing.

How do I test the CD module and what else should I test such as coil or rotor

I would hazard a guess that your batteries/ battery need replacing.

    Just fuel or spark.
Pull the lead off a plug put it on a spare plug and hold it against ground to see if it sparks.
I think Ed does it a different way but for me this is simpler. If you get spark you know where to go next.
You might want to check that the sock filter at the tank is not clogged.

I have no squeal fron the CD unit and zero volts at the coil. the 12 v comes fromthe CD unit. I do have 12v at fuse 8, which feeds the CD
