I spied something I had wondered about ..... the clip that holds the windshield washer tubing to the fuse area cover! What or where does one find that clip?!

That is not the tubing for the windshield washer fluid , but the hose for the fuel vent and the brake fluid resevoir vent - overflow for '69 US cars and '69 and later European cars .

Richy, is there a date range for this vent or just the '69 cars?

I can attest to the problem that may be caused if they do not exist or are not put on properly and fall off (as in my case).

Lucky to not lose the whole car to fire!!

Part number is 999.651.128.00. It isn’t anything special, just a steel chassis clip.

Are we sure this clip is for the fuel vent hose? This clip has always been there.
Pics from Ed and Ravi show this hose above the battery.

That's for the fuel vent hose on a 69 or later years if a ROW car. Mine is a ROW car but the two hoses in the picture are for the windshield washer and the brake reservoir vent hose.

Mine is a ROW(German), and now looks great-as was originally intended. Thanks to all for your help.
I know I have to add the insulator on the positive terminal.
