    More 2021 Pebble . . .

    . . . 1954 340/375 'Mexico'

What a history, this one . . . including Phil Hill, Richie Ginther, Carol Shelby and Ken Miles

Started out as a 340 MM Vignale spyder, then hot-rodded up to 375 Plus (4.9 liter, ~350hp). 2nd place in the '54 Carrera. Fin added by some Texan prior

Brutal car. 2200 lbs, drum brakes, Houdaille shocks, 190 ltr tank (!), '50s bias-plies . . . + just skip any safety stuff

    Now --- add in Mexico . . . @>170 mph = . . .

. . . fun, fun, fun (if you like juggling chainsaws)

    More 2021 Pebble . . .

    . . .

    No side-pipes = NOT super-charged --- but/still . . .

    . . . a lotta motor + notta lotta car = fast

Can look at the details of any Duesie all day long. Unlike most of the car-wash contestants here, I have absolutely zero doubt that this is exactly how this car looked when it was new --- the paint, the fit, the fittings . . . everything

And I'm always blown-away by the scale of these. Can you imagine parking this monster? Even if I could get it into my garage, I'd prolly knock-down half the landscape getting it into position. This cut-down sportster model --- thing is VAST!

Love that itsy-bitsy bikini top, too . . . for when you can't out-run the rain?

Always curious what the demographic of these kinda cars is now?
