Hello to All

Is there any type of seal/crush washer between #59 (pressure transmitter) & #61 (reducing socket) on a 2.2L engine? Given the notoriety of the location of these particular parts, it seems somewhat counter-intuitive there not be a gasket or seal washer required as this “snip” from the PET appears to indicate. If in anyone's experience it is advisable to install such an item - any suggestions are most welcome.

Also when re-installing the transmitter, how much ’torque’ (a subjective value in this case) is required to ensure a proper seal between the components? The “torque wrench” in my wrist is of dubious accuracy so any suggestions to ‘ball-park’ a reasonable amount of torque or 'a tightness' value will be most appreciated.
