    mfi question

On a 005 pump the throttle connecting rod should be 114+/- .2mm ball socket center to ball socket center. If the engine runs best with a length of 116mm, how many clicks of the partial load enrichment screw is the equivalent? How many clicks per mm ? Knowing this would save a whole lot of time. Thanks in advance.

Adjust the screw for the main rack . Turn it counter clockwise 3 clicks to enrichen and test . Maybe try again . At this point in time do not play with the partial enrichment screw . I forgot to include to first adjust the throttle connecting rod to 114 mm .

Not really the best way to fix this problem. The MFI pump throttle connecting rod should be set at 114mm. Having it set at 116mm adds 8 to 9 degrees of space cam throttle rotation and throws off the fuel mapping. Playing with the main rack adjustment to compensate for misaligned linkage will most likely add more problems. I would set the pumps 114mm rod correct, make sure the TB's are set correctly and then re-adjust the throttle bar drop links so they snap on without any pressure on the ball sockets. Now if the engine needs AFR's adjustments you can do it knowing the linkage is set correct. We could go deeper with the TB's adjustments but I'm hoping there close.
