Utilizing the roller sander from Harbor Freight. Although we often hear that real craftsmen and craftswomen would never set foot inside Harbor Freight, I have been impressed by this tool. It is light weight, easy to use and changing the grit level takes seconds.
My goal is to get to know the car as I do when restoring warehouses. After stripping the car down I will work on structural issues such as rocker replacement. Here is the order of priority I follow after buying a car:
safety: replaced front suspension to chassis structure
mechanical: rebuilt transmission and clutch , upgraded brakes and fuel lines
cosmetic: strip paint to further assess chassis condition
