    Noticed these neat pictures of a successful 911 race car as evidenced by the trove of trophies !! Anyone remember this fellow or his car ??

    A very nice gentleman with an immaculate, street-driven, time trial car, built by his close friend Bill Yates with many, many 'special' parts.

    A quick search finds Dave Carsten was the 1969 PCA San Diego reginal president and co-editor of their Windblown Witness news letter...

    That's a very tidy look'n weekend race program indeed....

    Yep, Dave Carsten. He had all kinds of trick stuff in that car. The color was light blue with orange stripes.

    Thanks for the info. These pictures are on EBay from a seller in Maine ....... I thought this car was set up well as to the number of trophies !! Wonder if he is still around ??
