FANTASTIC Steve !!!!!
Murray was/is the cutting edge rock star for me and my buds....
Once we saw the slab-sided BT-44 it clinched it... We thought, this was it !!!!
Thanks for the thread …
Cheers,

...hi Chuck
Can't say I know him other than a few meetings like this on occasion but he seems to exude a certain rock 'n roll style ...just some of his tee shirts and bikes on display that day....

Very different in style to the wonderful characters who founded a different famous F1 team whom I worked with -- at times very closely -- over the years.
Sorry some lanky guy is in the way of the cars

Awesome thread, Steve... you certainly get some great access! I met Gordon once at an RSA dinner in London - he was in full highland get up! No photos allowed though...

Am at Goodwood, and there are the Lauda and Prototype on display. Saw them today. I will take some pics tomorrow.

The handful of new photos above were of those taken today at goodwood members meeting. I added them to my old thread — thread I started about the private invitation tour by Murray himself because I could could see a visual “lineage” to the original innovative fan car that was famously withdrawn from Brabham F1 to the fan. However my understanding is the fan on new car works differently to original F1 fan car concept — its functions include preventing the diffuser stalling at low speed.
Handful more shots (below). Very crowded around these two cars when I was there today so not able to get photos from good angles — not sure why some images are loading sideways / upside down to site?

A wing mirror w/cameras is only on the road car; not on Lauda which has a neater looking traditional side mirror set.

Just posted these few more snaps as a starter; there is on www an official video from today from Goodwood.
Having had the privilege of been walked through 50 years of his work by Murray himself it it was interesting to see what he is offering as the latest high-performance car a couple of years on from that visit to Dunsfold in Surrey.

OK, no mean to hurt your sensibility Steve - will not post my pics though but I will enjoy the show nonetheless.

Xavier,
Please post images; my pictures are terrible. I hadn’t meant to hurt your sensibilities either — I commented because when I read your post I wondered if you had noticed the latest pictures I added were of those cars at goodwood MM. Possibly I had confused things by adding new content to my old thread. The reason I did so as had taken / posted the original fan photo and wanted to show the new fan alongside original. I look forward to seeing what you post
Steve
