No wonder they were careful with 722 in drive past the RAC Pall Mall as it is arguably more desirable than the one rumoured to be a world record:

    https://www.magnetomagazine.com/merc...sold-for-115m/

Coincidentally went past Stirling’s home on Mayfair London yesterday

Be interesting if the sale being Rumoured is confirmed meaning that the Merc is most valuable car.

Pity your scale model isn’t as as valuable in proportion to the full scale

Popped in to clubhouse for an F1 event and this was in the rotunda. Bond producer from Broccoli family long-time member
Very heavy steering an controls of the cars on my admittedly limited experience for real world use but obviously very handsome evocative marque and model enhanced by movie roles:

As a treat for those who know about such things …. a plaque on a special building south west of London that was the foundation of so much in motorsport

Couple of well known smartly dressed racers snapped in the rotunda , that is the club’s British Grand Prix Trophy in the display cabinet in background, over two handfuls of Le Mans wins between them as well as many other races:

Since the company finances were precarious during development some parts of the forerunner were sourced from other parts of other marque and models it said it some Glas has the door locks of a Porsche 911 — don’t know if that’s true on this example as I didn’t look.
