    Recaro IdealSitz-S Help Needed

    Hi,

My 1973 911 currently is fitted with Recaro comfort seats and I have just purchased a set of Recaro IdealSitz-S sports seats.

I am unsure of how to fit them and wondered if anyone can offer any advice. Unfortunately the seats did not come with any sliders so have posted a wanted ad here http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...542#post916542

I do not understand the seat adjuster that makes the seat go backwards and forwards in the slider. Looking at other threads the standard Recaro Sports seats did not have the adjuster arm in the seat, it was on the base. Looking at these on the Rose Passion site they include the mechanism in the slider, however the originals do not.

If I cannot get the original sliders can anyone advise what slider and base I can buy to fit the seats?

Also I do not know how to attach the seat belts. Can I use the right angled seat belt bracket that is fitted to my comfort seats ?

I hope these questions make sense.

    Thanks for looking

    Mike
