FS: Door Hinge Pin Removal Tool, P290, 000.721.290.20

This part replaces the NLA Porsche Special Tool:
    000.721.290.20 Extractor attachment Qty: 1

    It is used to remove '65-98 911, 912, 914, 964, & 993 door hinge pins:
    PET 65-69 911 Fig. 804-00, #03 901.531.305.20 Pin for door hinge Qty: 4

It will not work with the Porsche slide hammer, 000.721.290.00, which currently lists for $264.46.
Instead, it is designed to be used with any slide hammer with M10x1.5 threads. In the US, this used to be the $25 Harbor Freight Slide Hammer, #62959 (discontinued August, 2018 or #63609 (discontinued 2019).

The assembly now includes a threaded extension with a protective nylon sleeve and sacrificial flat washers.

I have made significant improvements to this tool described in Post #47. It can now also be used with slide hammers borrowed from local AutoParts stores.

    Material: Steel 4140 (42CrMo4)
    Heat Treat: HRC 35-39
    Finish: Hard chrome
    Weight: 252.00 grams

    The price is $84.36 each.
Shipping within the US is by USPS Priority "Won't Ever Get There In 2-Days" Mail in 2022 is $21.10. For reference, 2016 was $11.50. Your tax dollars at work.
