Thread: Seriously?

Someone recently asked if we’re in an alternate universe. Generally, the responses were, “no, it’s all proportionate and normal. This sale seems like an alternate universe to me

I think I got $12,000 or $13,000 for this pair, but that was 3-4 years ago.

They are ANCHORS. The 67's aren't bad but these are very heavy. Tilt mechanisms are the main culprit.
I remember the pair I installed in a 73-S dropped the back end considerably; about a half inch.
    Sports Purpose? Not.

Peter Z seats (now Vintage Seats) were much better. Still have mine.

    Ad's from days gone by.

The best seat ever I didn't buy were in the Electrodyne catalog in the late 70's early 80's. The model shown in the catalog was all black but I found these "period" pieces. (Bottom Photo)

I think they're called Rallye 2 if I'm not mistaken.

Correct! Thanks for reminding me. Anyone have a pristine pair in black?

100% agree with you @Sithot, the console weigh about 25 to 30 lbs each!

I know it's not period correct, but I prefer installing a pair of 68 Sport seats with the earlier SWB Recaro tilt frames in a LWB car.
