    With photography like that to entice the buyer, who cares if it is authentic.

    Del Monte Forest . . .

    . . . resident badges

    '. . . EXTREMELY RARE 1960-Present, EVERY BADGE IS 3-DIGIT NUMBER...one-of-a-kind, super unique collection of Del Monte Forest automotive license plates (home owners gate badges). Each one of these badges is either MINT or NEAR MINT condition (except for the 1973 which is missing some paint at lower end of plate). These plates are issued annually to property owners of Pebble Beach, CA (also known as the Del Monte Forest, where the coastal mountains crash into the rugged Pacific Ocean). These historic badges, permit emblems, plates, have been issued for almost 100 years. This specific collection has been curated over 25 years. I firmly believe that it is virtually impossible to reproduce a collection similar to this of ALL 3-DIGIT NUMBERS IN MINT CONDITION. Amazing to have for the wall of your man cave, automobile car collection, license plate collection. This would make a very special gift for Christmas or a birthday. The bottom row of the framed display has a ready space for the next 10 years of DMF badges!!!! Red frame with highlights of gold trims. Background is navy blue velvet mounted on a wooden board, the velvet material absorbs light so there are no background reflections. There is no glass or plexiglass cover, so that you can see and really touch and feel the metal badges and textures, and interact with them in that way. I've included as a special bonus a 2004 Speedster badge. This Speedster badge is from the 50 Anniversary of the Porsche 356 Speedster. Only 999 of these plates were made, and according to my understanding, only several hundred where ever actually distributed/issued, so it's extremely rare . . .'

    Ask = $8500

    Rick,
    The above referenced parts represent the pinnacle of excellence for 911 restoration.
    Treasures like these are for the elite and don't affect paupers and commoners who can still enjoy their cars immensely without having the best of the best.

    You should be grateful for these people; they are partially responsible for helping owners like you ride the wave of unprecedented appreciating values.

    Dunno 'bout 'treasures' --- or 'pinnacles of excellence' . . .

    Hm

    Well --- IMO . . . that sounds backwards

    Like, maybe the values of the cars have pushed up the asking-prices for the bits? . . .

    . . . + sites like The Registry 've made people aware of what this stuff is + looks like?
