I didn't think it would even reach that number. One the other hand it does demonstrate the market is strong.

Dealer Description:
Presented in Gemini Blue over black leather, this is a striking and desirable color combination for an early Porsche 911. Add in the factory sport seats, sunroof, and an upgraded 3.2L Carrera engine, and you have a combination of classic early Porsche 911 and with modern and reliable power in this package.
All of the work was commissioned under the current ownership which dates back 17 years. In addition, all documentation and invoices are present back to 1979, verifying the 133,000 miles showing on the odometer as original. The Porsche COA confirms correct options and numbers matching transmission and engine.
Exterior – In 2008 a full glass out, interior out, down to bare metal, respray was ordered (pictures available) in factory delivered Gemini Blue. The paint shows well based on age, there are some minor blemishes in the finish, but overall finish is generally free of chips and scratches. All exterior trim, gaskets, and rubber was either replaced of refinished during the paint project. H4 headlights, with new signal lenses. Glass is original, other than windshield.
Engine/Transmission – 3.2L engine out of a 1985 Carrera (engine has 70K miles on it currently), properly swapped into this car. Passenger front fender Carrera oil cooler added with hard lines. SSI headers/heat exchangers. The original numbers matching engine (2.4L, # 6133648) has been located and verified. It is available for purchase to the buyer of this car as desired. Transmission is the original 915 gearbox (#7335755), and shifts smoothly in all gears with no issues.
Interior – Following the paint job, a full new interior was fitted. New headliner, carpets and dash recovered by Autobahn Interiors (Dynamat added in doors and all carpet areas), instrument faces rescreened by North Hollywood Speedometer, a new Momo Prototipo steering wheel has been fitted, factory door panels in good condition retained. Factory sport seats are 90% original material, with the driver’s bolster repaired for wear, along with the lower foam and internal webbing on both front seats.
Shocks/Suspension/Brakes – 930 front rotors and calipers, Turbo tie rod ends, 26mm torsion bars, Koni sport shocks, Euro ride height. Rides excellent, taut yet compliant.
Wheels/Tires – Factory 15” Fuchs with fresh Dunlop 205/55-15 tires.
This 1973 911T is offered with factory tool kit, jack, spare wheel/tire, owner’s manual, Porsche COA, full records back to 1979, and a selection spare parts. As noted above, the numbers matching engine is available as well to the new owner if desired.

BaT Description:
This 1971 Porsche 911E coupe was purchased by the seller out of Kentucky in 2002, and has since been extensively modified for track use. It shows 65,450 miles and is powered by a 2.2-liter flat-six that is fully rebuilt and paired to a close-ratio 5-speed manual gearbox. In 2002, the car was disassembled and the chassis was dipped to remove all paint and under coating. The chassis was primed with epoxy and had a CroMoly roll cage TIG welded in by a certified NHRA chassis builder. The body is comprised of composite panels aside from the rear quarters and roof, and the suspension, braking, and nearly all other stock components have been overhauled. Total assembly time reportedly exceeded 2,200 hours. The car comes with SVRA and HSR log books, and all documentation plus a photo album covering the entire build. This Porsche is now offered on a bill of sale.
After the aforementioned chassis preparation, this 911 was rotisserie painted in base/clear PPG paint. The seller states that the car was hit once years ago, but the panels only required repair and no replacements were needed. Composite was used for the side vent windows and rear window, while the windshield is glass. 935 side mirrors are fitted, and several in-process body preparation and paint photos are displayed in the photo gallery below. A larger oil tank from a 1986 911 was installed along with braided lines running to a set of front-mounted oil coolers.
During the 2002 build, the suspension was modified as follows:
All suspension components powder coated
Lengthened front A-arms
Front raised spindles
Rear swing arms have additional negative camber
Monoball inboard and upper strut joints
Delrin bushings throughout
23mm front and 30mm rear torsion bars
Front/rear sway bars
Rear adjustable spring plates
Koni Sport adjustable shocks
Turbo tie rods, steering shaft coupler and bearings
The braking system consists of rebuilt front ‘S’ aluminum calipers with stainless steel pistons, Goodrich stainless steel lines, and vented discs. The rear calipers were also rebuilt with stainless steel pistons, and all four corners have new Hawk brake pads and rotors. A larger master cylinder was recently installed along with a new tank and lines. Currently, 15×6″ front and 15×7 rear Fuchs wheels are fitted with Toyo Proxes tires that have been used for one event per the seller.
A new fuel cell was installed along with a new pump, fuel lines, and filter assembly. With 17 gallons of fuel, this 911 was weighed by SVRA and found to be too light for its class at 1,960 lbs, so the required bolt-on chassis weights are included. A new Optima gel battery was also installed. Inside, the Corbeau seat and Sparco harness are new with current date-codes on all safety systems per the seller. The fire extinguisher and suppression system is also new and has never been charged. The original gauges were retained and are all said to be functional per the seller, while the rear brake pressure can be tailored via an adjuster positioned next to the driver’s seat. The 65,540 miles shown are believed correct based on the original title, mileage statement, and documentation included with the car.
The 2.2-liter engine case was sent to Walt Watson of Competition Engineering, and modified for air-flow with dog-housed main bearings and skirted cylinders. New JE 11.25:1 pistons were utilized, and the engine was assembled using Pauter rods, ARP rod bolts, a Carrera oil pump, and 906 camshafts. The heads were ported and flow-matched by James Cox, and include appropriate performance valves, springs, and titanium retainers. The heads were also twin-plugged and fitted with nickel-plated Cox Motorsports headers. The engine breathes through a new set of PMO carburetors that have just been tuned. A set of nickel-plated exhaust megaphones are also included. The 5-speed transmission uses short gears installed by Cox Motorsports, and the seller states that the first gear synchros are tired but still functional. A new flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch have been installed. The shift coupler and engine/transmission mounts are from Stomski. Additional undercarriage and in-process engine build pictures are displayed in the photo gallery.
Documentation of the entire build since 2002 is reportedly extensive, including all receipts and records which have been cataloged chronologically.

Auction Description:
We are pleased to offer for sale an original 1973 left-hand drive, 911T brilliantly modified to 2.8 RSR specification and homologated as an FIA Historic Race Car with a current FIA Technical Passport (Competition GT; Class GTS27). Unusually, for a conversion of this nature, the car is UK registered with an MOT and historic vehicle tax status and is ready for immediate use on the road or circuit. Chassis Number 9113100481 was originally delivered to the USA in March 1973, however much of its early history is unknown. In 1991, it was registered as belonging to Patricia J Vanleen of Baton Rouge, Los Angeles and in October 2009 was returned to Germany in the care of the S & N Automobilzentrum Aachen Gmbh. Since July 2010, the car has been the pride and joy of its current owner, our vendor.
On its arrival in Germany, the decision was taken to create an accurate RSR replica using the 911T as a basis and a lot of this work was entrusted to the immensely respected Bienert Boxer-Motoren, who have over 25 years experience in preparing air-cooled Porche engines, and DLS Automobile in Stuggart. The specification is too long to detail here but briefly;
Original engine type 911/51 (2.4 Litre, 140BHP) replaced with 1974/75, 911/41 engine modified to 2.8 Litre, compression ratio 10.8: 1 producing 265 bhp with mechanical fuel injection, and twin ignition. Five-speed, 'short-shift' 915 gearbox and a ZF LSD. Front strut brace, adjustable front shocks, adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars, front and rear polyurethane axle bushes, thicker torsion bars, and steel braided brake lines. Front tyres: 215/55 R1, rear tyres 270/45 R15. Wheels front: 9Jx15 and rear 11Jx15.
The bumpers, front and rear bonnets and the wings were replaced with composite parts. 'Makrolon' polycarbonate side and rear windows.Welded in multipoint roll cage. Sports steering wheel, sports seats with full harnesses and aluminium foot plates. The final set-up was completed by Kadach.com for Harry Utesche at DLS Automobile in Stuttgart.
Our vendor, a well known racing driver who has raced RSRs in the past admits “There is no excuse or way to avoid the fact that I fell completely in love with this car some time before it came to market. For me, it was the perfect looking, quintessential 911”. Having owned the car for the last seven years he confirms, “It is THE most tactile, malleable and sweet performer on the circuit with very much the right amount of power matching the grip available with a performance not so far from the delightful racetrack-only Chevron B8s etc. Around Spa & Monza, it was just pure racing delight”.
The new owner of this wonderful 911 has a number of options. It's a legal and perfectly usable road car, although, with a full competition suspension set-up, it wouldn't be long before you became good friends with your chiropractor, it could be developed into a pure, no-holds barred, full house racer, or left as it is, an 'on-the-button' entry for some of Europe's most prestigious events including Tour Auto, Spa Classic, and the Monza Historic.
Finished in sparkling Grand Prix White, this immaculate Porsche is accompanied by its UK V5C, MOT Certificate, DMSB Historic Technical Passport, and an inspection report from Gunther Frey. Dipl.Ing (FH).
It would cost over £200,000 pounds to prepare a car to this spec today and, at this guide, we feel that this stunning road/race 911 represents tremendous value for money and would welcome any inspection.
