    I've always wondered if they were painted black over the yellow at the factory, or if owners painted them black because they had heard that '73 T's should be black.
    Were any other years painted over the gel coat?

    There were also early oil cooler duct shape and late duct shape getting ready for ALU intake runners coming in 74. Gordon

    these are red but the 2 shrouds closest in the pix are early duct shape, the far one is the late shape ready for 74. G

    Did you paint the red shrouds?

    Is you did what color/brand did you use?

    btw - I've read all of the stuff about using Tandy materials.
