So guys here we are. The 2015 article is gonna e published in the Fall issue of ESSES. Now we are preparing the 2016 event. Herafter the program, registration to open soon. :

    Update - Nov. 2nd.
Due to the high prices of the tracks and some other uncertainties, we have to change the plan.

Despite Massimo huge efforts, The event wil no be longer in Italy (for this year), unfortunatly. However we have a plan B . Stunning one indeed. see flyer below.

We take the Le Mans Classic event opportunity to host our 2016 event. Dates are 8,9,10 July.
A nice short trip roadbook in Le Mans will guide us to the camp site (2 nights Friday and Saturday), with an all together diner Saturday evening. The concourse will award : best of member show, best camp installation, best car (early 911 only).
Rallye plates and a T-Shirt tailored to the event too !
Car park near the track included (however would suggest to leave the cars at the camp site).

Fee are 160 Euros per car/1 pilot and includes the above.
    Co-pilot is 55 Euros additional.

From last year event we saved a little money, and will be used to fund some of the activities/goodies.

Registration deadline is March 31st, 2016. No refund.
    All Porsche coupes/cabriolet/spyder/Speedster/targa

    Paypal payment at europeansregistrygathering@gmail.com.

If one was to come over from the US, would one be able to rent a current model Porsche locally so as to at least participate?

I guess it would be pretty expensive ... we might help in finding an empty seat and come as a co-pilot ...

Peter, forget renting, would be hell of money as Massimo said.

if you tell me in advance, I may have a free seat - not an early am afraid, but a nice one
    I
may ask a French Sreg member who owns several earlys...

    Cheers

Having been at LMC last year I'd rent a RV / Winnebago and a pitbike - almost everything else is useless there. Only alternative is a Hotel room and a Motorcycle. Standing in traffic is an issue at le Mans. Distances are far (hunaudieres is long) and camping is not my cup of tea (anymore). I bet you'll find somebody who'll gladly trade a copilots seat in an aircooled for a bed in a RV.
    Cheers Uli
