Were the 806.10 wheels just standard wrap? Or thick? I see people thick-gripping the lookalike 805.10 wheels but I'm unsure of how the original RS wheels were wrapped.

I believe the original RS wheel (806.10) was just leather wrapped and not padded.

John, You are correct. The 806.10 is the same thickness as the 805.10 wheel (and 400m standard leather wrapped wheel) and are about 3 inches (thin). They are the SAME wheel except for the part number. Neither an
805.10 or 806.10 are thick grip wheels. See answer above for more info. Thanks.

I had my 805.10 wheel re-wrapped by Tony at Autobahn and the circumference measures 3.5"
Curious, if these are thick wrapped with padding, do you still feel the 'finger grip' along the back? I can still feel this and I like it -- feels a bit vintage to me.
