    You might check the center-support of the engine cover, too. My car has a Karmann piece

    Unfortunately I didn't have the original rear lid, because it was updated to 2.7.

    I hope the car will be ready for the end of october.

    In picture 16 go back and clean the paint off that ground post, save a lot of trouble shooting time later on. And that is a nice clean assembly you're doing.

    Remove the paint where I have highlighted in red. Bring this area to bare metal. This will give you a solid ground.
