    More Parade, 2014 . . .

    Ahhhhhh . . . Pre-A Speedster --- 13th one made . . .

. . . and the last one w/ the super-early/-special style name tag

    (Owner told me, so. Plus? . . . . the 14th was across the way . . . + didn't have this. Wow)

Only ever seen that funky font in pictures --- 'till now

Carrying a vintage CA pass plate (odd-ball size + shape) w/correct vintage metal reg tab

Didn't check but this car should be sitting on 16s. Call it a 'gimme'

    The 14th Speedie built . . . note the WAY-more-usual font

Liiiiiiiittle burned-out on these --- Speedies have been famous/sought-after/regaled-in-song-&-story since, like, forever. It's gotten to the point where the only cars that catch my attention any more . . . . are the 'rats' . . . which are few-&-far-between, lemme tell ya

I mean --- every car has chrome wheels, any more . . . actually kindova rare option on what was Porsche's cheapest car

    Still . . . sure are pretty

This one has an interesting detail. Seems someone went to the time/trouble to research Max Hoffman's old store, in NYC . . .

    . . . and re-animate his dealership's new-car paper placard!

    Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

    Today's 'IT' car

Was somebody asking about 'accessory bumper guards'? Owner said that these're dealer-furnished . . . and shared w/ contemporary Volkswagen

Rick, sorry to have missed you, I was judging the early 911 preservation class all day, did the Canapa tour Tuesday, worked autocross on Wednesday and drove on Thursday, did a tech presentation today, and just got back from the awards banquet an hour ago. Don't suppose you're still here???

    Likewise, Ed

There was no Registry Corral per se, so running into/recognizing anybody was sort of a hit-or-miss deal, anyway --- although I did see a car or two . . . Steve. And there's no Registry 'secret handshake' or anything either, so . . .

    Besides . . . sounds like somebody was busy/in-demand?

But. We --- as in Zovig, myself, + The Nasty Car . . . expect to be up in Monterey for the Werks Re-union in August

    You?

'Cause if not, then it looks like I gotta drive to Texas --- which . . . . I actually wouldn't mind
