W: 911T or E Coupe
Hi everyone. I'd be interested in any leads on an honest '70-73 911T or 911E (numbers matching, manual, black interior, flexible on color). Some restoration wouldn't be an issue but not interested in starting from scratch. Looking for something around 50 years old for my 50th.
Thank you,
Paul in Dallas

A little outside your criteria, but in the end you might be better off value wise. I have a very original low mileage rust free 69 S that I’m considering selling. Approximately 70,000 miles and just had a top end rebuild and new proper clutch, rebuilt brakes, fuel injection pump, fuel pump, and a litany of other repairs. The 5 Pirelli CN36’s have about 1000 miles on them and are mounted on the original Fuch’s The car sat in a barn for about 25 years. Interior is in very nice condition with no rips or stains in the houndstooth upholstery. The dash has the obligatory crack near the clock and another tiny crack by the defroster vent. Car starts easily and runs great with no issues. It’s a wonderful driver as is or an easy restoration (if there is such a thing). The paint shows lots of patina, mainly just cracking and checking, but the drivers door and rear quarter were repainted after a previous owner ran it through a barbwire fence and could benefit from a respray. You could throw on a halfway decent paint job for a few thousand and have a real looker, but honestly it’s a real attention getter as is and offers worry free driving and parking. Oh, it’s burgundy with black and white houndstooth interior. Asking $120,000

Thanks everyone for all of the leads. A lot of fun learning about your cars. The search continues.
