If you mean the white plastic bushes in the tunnel, there are three. One under the shifter, one under the handbrake, and one under the rear panel -- that's the only one that's easy to access. :)
I don't know why you're missing the third, but trust me, it's there.
Harry,
Sometimes the PET just doesn't correspond to date specific information.... or sometimes the correct information
Here out of my '73 Parts manual printed 9/72
Hope this helps
Chuck:
Thanks. For some reason this does not surprise me. I just want to be sure.
Thank you Mr. Miller. Something I need to check on!!!
Hi All,
I found out my trans bell crank was for 915 gearbox so I decided to install the correct 901 one for my car as well as the main pull rod.
Here is the 915 bell crank :
Attachment 614933
And here are the right parts :
Attachment 614934
Attachment 614935
I was a little bit short while connecting all together, so I decided to order also the extension rod which is linked to the rubber connecting piece, and I was right :
Attachment 614936
Now all angles on the 3 bell cranks are good (as described by Ed) and I have full throttle movement.
Attachment 614937
Since then I'm trying to adjust the return to idle position when I release very slowly the accelerator pedal, time to time it doesn't go fully to that idle stop position and it does not engage the microswitch in the engine compartment.
It looks like if the pedal was sticky within the last inch of its course.
All my bell crank bushings and the 3 in the tunnel are new and there was no problem before I did that job...
