What brands and models of racing helmets were used on the European racing and rallye circuit of the 1960's and 1970's?
Pretty much exclusively Bell, at least in Formula 1 and 2. Until Simpson came along in the early eighties, Bell was in a class of its own.
Thanks David. Was thinking more from a 911 perspective. Were Italian AGV helmets popular at this time?
Several F1 drivers wore Buco helmets in the 60s, including Clark and Stewart.
AGV were popular in the 70s- Lauda, Regazzoni, Alan Jones etc...
