Oil Console Question

Hello all,
I'm starting a restoration of a 1971 T using the original engine.

When I bought the car last fall, it had a stroked and bored VW engine installed, but I got the original engine with it in pieces.

The oil tank was not included with the car when purchased. I purchased a tank at the PCA Carlisle swap last weekend that has an oil filter mount on it, but it doesn't have the "extensions" for the hoses and thermostat like this one: https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...ht=oil+console

My car is carbed. Is the oil console in the link above only used for fuel Injected E's and S's? Or am I supposed to have that for my T as well?

That type of oil filter console is 911S only. It sounds like you already have the correct oil filter mount.

That is the plumbing for a front mount oil cooler. I doubt your car has one.
