67 hard window channels
can anyone tell me if 67 coupes need 3 hard window channels or just 2? i’m getting conflicting info online. i picked up soft channel seals that go from the top to the trailing edge of the window frames and a hard channel for the leading edge.
but after looking at a diagram that sierra madre posted, they’re saying i need 2 hard channel guides for the top and leading edge but not clear which guides i need for the trailing edge. can anyone tell me what guides i need?
can anyone with 67 coupe post pics of their front, top and back edge guides?

I've always gone with hard top and the side facing rear of car, and soft channel on the side facing the front (vent window side) of the car. I'll send you a photo of what I use for the soft when I go to the shop later today -- it's really easy to install

That's the same soft felt channel I used. Big thanks for the video, I'm about to put window frames in and the refresher is very helpful!

nice! yeah what confused me was getting the soft channel and it being almost 7ft long!

I don't recall where I got my soft channel so many years ago, but it came the same way, sold as one long piece to (incorrectly) do all three sides. I cut it down to fit only the forward side, using the correct hard channel for the other two sides. The soft channel I had fit, looked right, so I used it, but not sure if it's correct. PET shows the number for SWB to be 901 542 902 25. Various vendors sell it including Porsche dealers. Does anyone have a photo of an OEM (not aftermarket) part - 901 542 902 25 - to share and compare?

My $.02 in case you want all hard channels as it was original in 65:
For hard channels you need 2x 901.542.901.21 for top and rear.
Front hard channel is 901.542.902.26

I have not assembled mine frames yet, but it looks correct.

thanks prez. yeah according to the video i see the leading edge channel is shallower than the top and rear channels so the lower guide in the top pic makes sense. my only question is, does the hard channel on all sides make it harder to roll the windows down? or does the track and frame alignment need to be spot on in order for it to operate smoothly. soft channels seem to have more give. my new regulators comes in today so if it comes early enough i'll try and get one side done with the soft channel and post my findings.
