77 Carrera 3.0 "Turbo Body"
Here is my friend's car. He gave me permission to post it. Bought in Germany when he worked there. Factory employee owned. He has an original front valence. The one on this is DP which is period correct. The wheels are Lindsey Racing pieces which afford a lot of choices when it comes to tires.
The body is a 930 Turbo BUT it has Carrera 3 identification numbers. This was not a stock 3.0 car that had flares added. In a previous post I illustrated the difference in this car's rear latch panel which is relieved for turbo application (like the 76-77 Turbo cars)
Scott at Auto Associates built the engine in the car now. He has the original on a stand which was running at 100% when removed. The new engine is an MFI Short Stroke 3.2. Damon Josz did the amber glass on it. Probably one of the tightest "old cars" I've encountered.
It's pretty well "papered" too.

Various Porsche 911 tail options...
Gib...You probably have this technical stuff regarding the part #'s for "up-dating" to the 1974 3.0 RS/Turbo already but just in case....and I couldn't resist to add some "sexiness" to the tail discussion as well.../ Lars...
P.S...Page 7 of the link below at the bottom shows the 1974 RS 3.0 Fiber Glass Tail with one grill and p/n 930.512.010.07 and Polyurethane "lip" p/n 911.512.019.00(same lip for '75 Turbo)
