Sounds great, but I haven't been following other lists so don't know how this is supposed to work/ what it should do. A little more on the purpose/point/what is hoped for would help some of us. Jim

Happy to be part of this as part of an international list , plenty of early911nz members down here to offer help or just meet traveliers in our neck of the woods
If anyone breaks down near Lake Stevens, WA, I've got you covered!
Actually, you can stop by even if you don't break down.
Thanks Chuck and all.

Two thumbs up! Great idea. Can't you see a S-Reg 'ap for that'?
And if you break down near Fall City, I know the way to Bernie's blindfolded. ;):)
I've been on the 356 Travel Assistance Network for a long time, and although
I didn't need it when I drove my Speedster across the country in '04, it was
really comforting knowing it was there.
We have it broken down into categories such as: Distance from your home,
Times they can contact you, and Level of assistance you can provide, from
'share a beer with you while you lament' to 'full shop with equipment at
your service.'
It's amazing what lengths car guys will go to help a brother out.
Great idea.
We do the same thing in the Hot Rod community.
Very cool!, I didn't realize that you drove out for that event, I thought you had it trailered along with Joel Horvitz and the couple of other guys from your area. Instead of my speedster, I brought down my Orange 59A coupe, and ultimately sold it at the event to a fellow member of both 356 and Registry boards.
cheers,
Eric
I will check with Fred (Trueman) and see how the response has been...
He was also getting some technical data base configuration advice from a couple of those that already responded.......
Cheers and keep those responses coming in to Fred.... :)

Good to see this concept getting traction!
